Meet the Team

Jack Gillespie, Founder & Managing Director

Jack is a seasoned leader in the digital media industry, with extensive experience in brand partnerships, publishing, social media, product innovation, and data. He has held Brand Partnerships roles at legacy publishers including The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal, before transitioning to leadership roles across new-era digital media brands looking for international expansion. Notably, he spearheaded Mashable’s Europe & Asia expansion, successfully establishing and managing offices in London, Paris, and Singapore. Most recently, Jack served as Managing Director and Head of Global Branded Partnerships at the future-focused business publication Quartz. The Loomify Collective is a reflection of his passion for innovative storytelling, expert collaboration, and building brand partnerships that deliver purpose and exceed performance expectations.

Dale Lovell, Executive Director

Dale’s career at the forefront of digital spans editorial, publishing, marketing and advertising technology. Dale is a veteran of several successful publishing and marketing start-ups, the last of which, Adyoulike, sold to OpenWeb in 2022. Working for a decade as a journalist, freelancer and editor, before becoming an advertising entrepreneur, investor and advisor, Dale brings to Loomify a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities both creators and brands face. He is also the author of Native Advertising, The Essential Guide (Kogan Page). 

Sarah Avery, Brand Partnership Director

Sarah’s career spans brand partnership roles at trusted global publishers including The Guardian and the BBC, where she was Head of Commercial Partnerships, and as Board Member of World Media Group. Sarah brings to Loomify a vast experience on brand, client services, brand content, and agency relationships across UK and International markets.
